E6: SYSTEMS AND NETWORK ADMINISTRATION
1 – OBJECTIVE :
The aim of this test is to assess the candidate's acquisition of the skills described in the “Systems and network administration” skills block specific to the “Infrastructure, systems and network solutions” option, namely :
design a network infrastructure solution
install, test and deploy a network infrastructure solution
operate, troubleshoot and supervise a network infrastructure
2 – EVALUATION CRITERIA :
The test is based on two professional projects included in the dossier submitted by the candidate. These professional achievements draw on the resources described in the certification reference framework for the “Systems and network administration” block.
3 – EVALUATION METHODS :
Practical and oral exam: 40 min (+1h30 preparation)
First phase - 30-minute preparation followed by a maximum 20-minute interview
On the basis of an expression of needs given to the candidate and studied during the first preparation phase, the evaluation committee conducts an interview which allows the candidate to express his or her views on the subject.
Second phase - one-hour preparation followed by a maximum 20-minute interview
The second preparation phase enables the candidate to work independently and individually on the solution required, using the work environment available at the test center.
At the end of the preparation time, the commission proceeds with the acceptance of the solution and conducts an explanatory interview.
